Pre-Construction Services

RMPB works with the owner in the early phase of drawings, to provide value engineering and suggestions for sitting, construct ability, budget and scheduling.


General Contractor

As a General Contractor, its services begin with pricing. RMPB bids out the job in predetermined packages, and verify the validity of the bids using its extensive cost histories. During actual construction, RMPB manage the day to day activity on the job, including safety, quality control and adherence to the schedule. It also provides bonding for the project and holds all subcontractor contracts, unless instructed to do otherwise by the owner. It has the ability to self-perform many aspects of work, giving it greater control over the schedule and allowing it to truly drive the project.


Construction Manager

RMPB is closely involved in the planning and design phase and typically joins the project at the same time as the architect. It provides input on construct-ability, budget, and schedule, which reduces costs. During the construction phase, RMPB full-time supervision team is on site, monitoring work to assure compliance with specifications, budget and schedule. RMPB acts as a liaison to the owner providing the on-going status of the project, producing monthly progress reports which detail the status of the job from start to finish.


Design Build

RMPB’s expertise also extends to Design-Build Construction. During construction, it then acts as the single source of information for all design and construction issues. This creates a more effective line of communication between everyone involved with the project, which leads to a more successful project delivery system.

SITE SUPERVISOR

The Company Site Supervisor is responsible for on the job safety. Duties include:


PLANNING JOBS

  • Participating in the planning and design stages of trade activities
  • Developing Task Analysis and Work Method Statements


PROVIDING RICH EQUIPMENT

  • Ensuring safe equipment and plant is provided and maintained (and inspected and tagged)


ENSURING WORKERS CONFORMANCE TO SAFE PRACTICES

  • Ensuring workers have the right skills for the jobs they are doing
  • Monitoring and insisting on compliance with safe work methods
  • Leading by example and promoting OHS at every opportunity


MAINTAINING SAFE SYSTEMS

  • Reviewing safety reports and inspections and initiating rectification where necessary
  • Participating in incident investigations
  • Participating in safety meetings and programs
  • Conducting project inductions, toolbox talks and daily team briefings.


SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

The Company Site safety Officer is responsible for safety on the project. Duties include:

  • Working at Height
  • Isolation and lockout

  • Machine Guarding
  • Confine Space
  • Hot Work
  • Digging and Excavation
  • Lifting and supporting load


ASSISTING THE SITE SUPERVISOR TO ENSURE ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS ARE FOLLOWED

  • Ensuring every worker has access to the correct PPE
  • Participating in the planning and design stages of trade activities
  • Preparing and participating in safety meetings and programs
  • Preparing and conducting project safety inductions
  • Conducting accident/incident investigations


ENSURING WORKERS CONFORMANCE TO SAFE PRACTICES

  • Insisting on correct and safe practices at all times
  • Monitoring and insisting on compliance with safe work methods
  • Leading by example and promoting OHS at every opportunity
  • Providing advice and assistance on OHS to all employees
  • Co-coordinating rehabilitation for injured employees
  • Facilitating Tool Box Talks on a regular basis
  • Participating in regular workplace inspections and ensuring that any improvements areauctioned in the required time frame
